Sessions and Rates

What does the first session look like?

The first session can last up to 90 minutes (priced at the same rate as a regular 60-minute session.)

First, we take the time to discuss what brings you to hypnotherapy.

Then, we talk about my approach and the hypnotic state. You can share any questions or expectations you may have.

Finally, we delve into the first hypnosis session, allowing you to experience the hypnotic state and begin the transformative process.

How many sessions will I need?

Hypnosis is considered a brief therapy. By directly accessing the unconscious mind, it enables you to quickly create lasting changes.

On average, the hypnotherapy process lasts from 4 to 10 sessions per theme addressed. A minimum of 4 sessions is generally recommended to ensure that the work is in-depth and long lasting.

As you witness your progress, you can then decide when the process feels complete, or if you wish to dive into another theme.

Regular Rate

The Regular Rate is 110$.

Reduced Rate

The Reduced Rate is 70$.

The reduced rate is $70 per session, for people with low income who don’t have group insurance.

To sustain my practice, I can only offer a limited number of ongoing reduced-rate arrangements.

Feel free to contact me if you’d like to access this rate, and I’ll let you know if reduced-rate support is available at that time.

As a member of the association for complementary medicine providers RITMA, I offer naturopathy insurance receipts for hypnotherapy sessions.

Where do I fall on the sliding scale?

A sliding scale honors the fact that everyone has different access to ressources.

It relies on trust and on people honestly assessing their capacity. I will never ask anyone for proof or justification when choosing the reduced rate.

Everyone’s financial situation is complex, but here are general guidelines to give you an idea of where you can fall on this scale: :

These guidelines are inspired by Alexis J. Cunningfolk's article "The Sliding Scale: A Tool of Economic Justice (aka The Green Bottle Method)".
